Czech Treibball Championship, Pesopark, 20.9.2025

The Czech Treibball Championship was held on September 20, 2025, and it returned to Pesopark in Uhøínìves after two years. We were the main organizers and together with us the championship was organized by Jirka Èedík, Pavla Hejèová Langová and the apka dog school and of course Pesopark, where the championship took place. Jirka Èedík and Pavla Hejèová Langová judged the championship together with me.
We were delighted with the great interest in our race. The limit of 50 teams was full early, and 49 teams from 3 countries (Czech Republic: 34, Hungary: 10, Germany: 5) finally took part in the race. The interest was undoubtedly so great also because all our materials and on-site communication were trilingual (Czech, English and German).
We had started preparing for the race long before it took place. Formatted competition balls and new signs settled in some rooms of our house, and gradually came also trophies, diplomas and name tags for the participants. Thanks to several donors, the winners of the competitions received nice prizes.

The group of registered breeds was very diverse. In the Large category, the following breeds were presented: Australian Kelpie, Australian Shepherd, Beauceron, Border Collie, Rough Collie, Entlebuch Mountain Dog, Irish Setter, Standard Schnauzer, Labrador, Malinois, Mudi, German Shepherd, Portuguese Water Dog, Pyrenean Shepherd, Golden Retriever and several crossbreeds. In the Medium category, the English Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie, Entlebuch Mountain Dog, Italian Greyhound, Medium Poodle and Shiba Inu competed. In the Small category, the following breeds could be seen: Dachshund, Miniature Poodle and Welsh Corgi. The wide range of breeds and their joy are captured in the introductory video and beautiful photos by Veronika Brunhoferová.

Even though there were many racing teams, the course of the races was smooth and calm without any time slips, not only thanks to the experienced judges and a great team of assistants, but also thanks to the discipline of all participants.
The results are clearly summarized in the TABLE and they are also documented by phots from the announcement of the results. Milan and Aisha managed to win the fifth Czech Champion title in a row, this time after a new size division in the 2 M category. The Czech Champion title in the 3 L category was won by Silvie with Lucky and the second Vice Champion title in the 3 L category was won by Jiøí Èedík with Pretty, so three championship titles remained in Pesopark this year to our great joy. Other teams from Pesopark also performed well. Just a drop of luck was missing somewhere. In the 0 L category, Diana and Elfie came in 3rd place, in the 1 S category, Pavla and Mauro came in 1st place, and in the 1 M category, Ondra and Hádík came in 2nd place. In the 1 L category, Diana and Freya came in 2nd place.

Thanks for the smooth running of the race go to everyone who took care of it in advance and then on site all day. First of all, we would like to thank the co-organizers Jiøí Èedík and Pavla Hejèová Langová and her dog school apka. The race was held under the auspices of the Czech Treibball Club and with the support of donors, thanks to which the winners were able to take home beautiful trophies and prizes. The main sponsors were TRADING M&C. Other sponsors AKINU and SANYTOL provided nice prizes. The beautiful trophies were supplied by BAUER at a discount, and the entire event was professionally and free of charge sounded by Pavel Hejè from PROFFESSIONAL SOUND. Many thanks to everyone. Thank you to the judges Pavla Hejèová Langová and Jiøí Èedík for helping me with judging the races. We would like to thank Jarka Chlumská for the opportunity to organize the race in the beautiful surroundings of Pesopark and Petra Jirošová and her team for the fast processing of the results and ensuring the smooth running of the entire event in the background. We would like to thank Veronika Brunhoferová for the beautiful photos.
